Using an AI song generator with my own lyrics,
I used prompts to create a vaporwave/synth album
for my latest Fault Tolerant album.
This required eight hours of prompts to get the right
songs (and the right “singers,” followed by more software usage
to extract stem so I could create fully fleshed out songs
instead of just :30 second samples with no endings.
I also added my own synth parts to create a fuller (though no less strange)
collection of tracks. In some ways, there was more work involved
than simply writing songs from scratch. The album is available to preview for purchase here. The album cover was also designed using Ai with art direction assistance from Åsk Wäppling who is bringing Eurostile Extended back.
